FLEX will offer most of its courses at the Walkersville B building main campus four nights a week from 6:00 to 8:00. Lab courses, such as Environmental Science, Biology, Art & Foundations of Technology will be offered on various nights at Walkersville High School from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Generally speaking, math & elective courses will be offered on Mondays & Wednesdays. English & social studies courses will be offered on Tuesdays & Thursday evenings from 6:00 until 8:00. Flex students must attend classes two nights for two hours a night. Although there will be a highly qualified teacher in the classroom, instruction will be computer based. Classes begin with an orientation on the first Monday or Tuesday of each month. Students may enroll at anytime during the school year and will have a maximum of twenty weeks to complete a course. FCVS will offer "conditional virtual" courses based from the Walkersville B building main campus. Instruction will be provided by a highly qualified online teacher in an online digital format. Students will begin their course attending class one night a week for two hours and may be released conditionally as they demonstrate their ability to perform as a virtual student. Math & electives will meet Mondays or Wednesdays. English & Social Studies will meet Tuesdays or Thursdays. Virtual students will need to take tests and assessments in a face-to-face setting. These virtual courses have a specific start and end date. Students will have a maximum of twenty weeks to complete a course.
